Good Morning Ma'am,
I am a Sergeant in the United States Marine
Corps currently serving in Afghanistan. Today my unit received some packages
from your wonderful students and the family of Corporal Palmer. It is because
of students like Genevieve, leaders of youth like yourself, and families like
the Palmer's that we do what we do. The members of my unit and I were very
touched by this gesture and are extremely grateful that complete strangers are
involved in projects such as this that are able to make our time here more
tolerable. I believe I speak for all who are receiving your packages in saying
that it is a great honor and privilege to be serving our country because of
kind and caring people like all you who are involved in this project. I have
attached a picture of some of the Marines in my unit who wish to extend our
thanks to you all. Please extend our thanks and gratitude to all those
involved.
Very Respectfully,
Sgt Saylor, E. R.
VMU-2 (FWD) Supply Chief
Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan
