Our biggest fundraiser of the year is our Christmas & Caring Ball! This is a formal but fun event where we invite host/hostesses to decorate tables in a Christmas theme with their pretty dishes! Folks purchase either individual tickets or sponsor tables of eight! Guests come dressed up in their holiday finery! We serve an awesome meal, feature relevant speakers, and provide music and dancing! Funds raised are used to help our active duty military and their families, veterans and their families and families of the fallen! It is also a major venue for us to raise the level of awareness in our community of the service and sacrifice of our military!
We invite local organizations to host Troop Box Packing Events! At these events, folks throughout the community, bring items to pack in the boxes and money for shipping! We include handwritten heartfelt messages in the boxes! Cards/letters can be brought in or written at our card writing station! Everyone is welcome to participate! We accept addresses for deployed military (all branches) and send care packages to them throughout the duration of their deployment!
